It’s finally my time of the year to launch a new game for you to enjoy. This time last year it was Ultimate Team, for which incidentally we’ve just won two internal EA awards for the game concept. I hope you’ll all going to be getting the sequel when it launches very soon, I certainly can’t wait to start building a team again having seen what Paul Hossack’s team have been doing to the game.

It’s blog time again for FUT 10 Ultimate Team. As I sit and write this down, the team is madly working and discussing fixes and solutions around me. Nearing the completion of a game is always an interesting time; pressure is high, hours are longer, and unexpected issues/bugs pop up that we quickly need the team to find solutions for and fix. It’s a lot of fun though because it’s exciting to know that soon you guys are going to be able to enjoy what we have been working so hard on for the last year.

Live Season will also be back up and running this afternoon on PS3, and Saturday afternoon on X360. There will be a small server outage to prepare for the relaunch of Live Season. If you try to play Live Season after 7am before you have installed the patch you may experience some challenges, these will be resolved as soon as the patch has been deployed and installed..

The first internal FIFA 10 Tournament has been held at the EA Sports Bar in Cologne. It was a huge success and FIFA Informer had the chance to play against some stiff competition in this local tournament.
